5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS JAPAN: THE HONSHU TRAIL
(FROM OSAKA TO TOKYO)

A wonderful way to discover Honshu is by doing a private tour with your own group of friends or family, putting up in quality hotels, savouring local delights and most important of all, accompanied by a local guide.

DAY 01:  ARRIVE OSAKA (KANSAI). VISIT NARA. TRANSFER TO MISUGI [L,D]
After arrival formalities at Kansai International Aiport in the morning, you"ll be met by our representative, and at 9.00am, your guide and van arrives to take you on a tour.

Proceed (approximately, an hour) to Nara, Japan's first permanent capital established 1300 years ago. In the centre of this ancient city is the serene Nara National Park where within is Todaji Temple, the world's biggest wooden structure containing Japan's largest bronze Buddha. And also, roamimg freely in the park are more than a thousand deers that are considered as a national treasure.

Enjoy your set lunch in a traditional Japanese restaurant at the park.

After lunch, proceed to the nearby Iga-Ueno town for its Ninja Museum that consists of a Ninja residence with revolving walls and trap doors, and exhibition halls displaying Ninja gadgets and weapons. Afterwards, see a dramatic performance by ninjitsus using real swords and weapons. And if time permits, you can do an optional but relatively inexpensive trial (a few hundred Yen) to be a Ninja - a photo opportunity to show off your Shuriken/Ninja Star throwing skills!

Head towards Misugi, a small onsen/hotspring village with beautiful cypress trees and orderly farms and surrounded by mountains and forests. Check in to your resort room.

Buffet dinner will be served at the resort with crabs as the main item.
After dinner, enjoy your onsen spa just before going to bed.

Stay overnight at Misugi Onsen Resort.
